Earthguide Online Classroom
Earthguide Online Classroom is repository for materials and educational resources for teachers, students and parents that is under development as part of COSEE CA and related Scripps Institution of Oceanography Earth and ocean science education programs.
Material components include images, instructional illustrations, animations, video clips, data, maps, and text. Authentic observations such as satellite imagery and visualizations of near real-time observational data are included.
Educational components include online learning modules (currently under development) for students and a wide range of resources for parents, teachers and students including information about ongoing research, related careers, modern technologies and elements reinforcing concurrent curricula in math and other sciences. The site is currently under development at http://earthguide.ucsd.edu/eoc/.
