Communicating Ocean Sciences--Reflecting on Practice
COS-RoP.net is an online resource and community for scientists and educators committed to improving their knowledge about and ability to communicate science with the public. It is created with funds from the NSF Informal Science Education (ISE) Program for the COSIA Network. Through this social networking website:
- All instructors teaching COS-K12 and COSIA can:
- connect with one another to share syllabuses, resources, course materials, and their invaluable experiences;
- download curriculum materials, such as write ups and PowerPoint presentations for all sessions; and
- build an online learning community across the nation.
- Educators implementing and participating in the Reflecting on Practice program can:
- connect with one another to share resources, program materials, and their invaluable experiences;
- engage in online discussions with educators within their institutions and beyond;
- download program materials, such as PowerPoint presentations for all sessions; and

- Scientists participating in Scientist Workshops can:
